We have just returned from an action-packed weekend in the Lake District national park! The trip was organised by nPower and was part of the Future Leadership Challenge. Among the activities was a 14-mile hike/run in the stunning nature of the national park, climbing several peaks. We also did night orienteering and canoeing. In the challenges we came second overall! This was an exceptional opportunity to get tighter as a team. Our chanting is believed to still be echoing in the mountains.
It was also a good chance to meet the other 9 finalist teams and to learn about their contributions. On the schedule was also an inspiring talk by the polar explorer and environmentalist Robert Swan OBE.
Now we just have to improver our standing one place for the main judgement in December. Have a look at the photos!

I would have never thought I could run, hike, climb so much, so fast in marshes, on rocks and in midnight as well!
I guess if it wasnt a team competition none of us individually would have done so good!
And R.I.P. to that sheep we met on our way! Poor her…
